Founded in 1950 by Calisto Poggipolini, Poggipolini is an Italian company specialising in high-precision machining, with technical solutions for weight reduction, in critical structural components and special fasteners, for the Automotive, Aerospace and Motorsports sectors.
With over 60 years of experience in processing titanium, special alloys and composites, in recent years Poggipolini has increased production by acquiring new strategic production sites and maximising production with its know-how.

An intuition, a challenge that has become a revolutionary product: the Sens-in® Bolt, the smart bolt is born.
Combining electronics and sensors with mechanics, in an innovative product that can perform multiple functions simultaneously, thus optimising weight and space, but above all becoming a new solution for monitoring complex systems.
From the collaboration between Poggipolini, a leading company in the design and production of fastening elements, in aeronautics and motorsports and with the support of cutting-edge European Research Centres and Universities, after three years of work, studies and prototyping on different physical sizes of fasteners, Sens-in® has been patented.

Additive Manufacturing
Additive Manufacturer Roboze is an Italian-American technology company that designs and produces what are considered the most repeatable and industrialised 3D printers in the world. Its additive manufacturing systems are among the most chosen, by companies operating in regulated sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy and motorsport, with a wide offering of super polymers and composites, capable of replacing metal parts in various applications, where extreme conditions are present.
This experience, in supporting the digital transition of these companies, will be a critical factor for the development of the objectives of Poggipolini Spa's Factory of the Future in the industrialisation of complex and sophisticated parts.
Digital Manufacturing Accelerator
Forward Factory
Today Forward Factory is born, an accelerator dedicated to startups in digital manufacturing.
An initiative by CDP Venture Capital SGR – National Innovation Fund, co-ordinated by GELLIFY, which sees us participating as an investor and corporate partner.
Our goal is to consolidate the Phygital Factory project: not a simple evolution of our digital lines, linking to the world of fasteners and systems for aeronautics, premium cars and eVTOL, but a true path of disruptive digital transformation. This path will lead to the creation of a digital twin of the entire company, which will disseminate and enhance know-how in different production units.
Centralised data control, efficiency in production and accelerated reaction to sudden market changes, will be the areas in which we will invest, to aim for global growth and propose a new supply chain system.
